L♡O♡V♡E this place, the food, the staff. Best evah.

Don't knock it because it's in a gas station. Though there's nothing fancy about it, Mishima Express has delicious Japanese staples at a good price. Well worth the 20-minute drive for Franklin residents.

I know there aren't many places around like this. But just find a different cuisine. Food here is way over priced for a ton of rice and some chicken. And the only way to add flavor is to drench the meal in sauce. Sweet carrots are like eating candy, tastes so artificial.If you want to add broccoli or more mushrooms it costs almost 2 dollars for such a small amount. And the service is usually getting onto each other as you order food. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat.

Quick and friendly service, huge portions, and the food was great. They also have a 100% sanitation rating currently. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance!

The two young fellas made sure I got steamed rice with broccoli :) cool and simple and eazy.

Just left Mishima and the food was delicious. The carrots were a great touch and the rice was cooked perfectly. I got the chicken and shrimp and my girlfriend got the filet mignon. Lets put it short they know what they are doing! Our waitress was very sweet and the busser was exceptionally quick and courteous. We has a real nice dinner. Try out their deserts. We had the cheese cake. Their cheese cake alone is worth going for. Loved it. I would definitely come back next time i am in town. Very convenient location. A+

Great food, a little pricey but worth it. Nice menu variety includes chicken, steak, seafood. Ask for Suzanne, she's the best waitress they have!

Clean dining area, friendly service, delicious food

Mediocre at best. The last time I ordered from here the plate was mostly rice and some chicken and vegetables. You get charged a substitution fee for exchanging the sweet carrots for broccoli or mushrooms. If you order at the drive-thru, you will wait for a long time for your food, like 10 minutes or longer. To make the food taste good, you have to put a lot of sauce on it. This location used to be better, but it has went downhill. You are better off finding a recipe online to make fried rice with chicken and vegetables.

I can't remember when I had a worse meal. What taste there was was really bad. No seasoning, no flavor, yum yum sauce was nothing more than mayonnaise with a little ketchup stirred in. Really bad. I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.

Great price, great food!

We have eaten at Mishima Asain Cuisine many times. The service is great and the food is abundant and delicious! Try your meal cooked in coconut oil. Yummy and better for you. Who would have thought such a good restaurant would be in a gas station!?

Awesome steak and shrimp rice and sweet carrots

Staff informed couldn't cook a filet mignon medium and had the nerve to be argumentative. Tea sucked, pink lemonade nasty. Will never ever go to this establishment again. Just bad service.

Great place to eat

A hidden treat in Clayton attached to a gas station of all places. I had the teryaki chicken with zucchini and onions. Always fresh & made to order. Owners are super friendly and helpful.

Perhaps they have new cooks? I ate here two weeks ago and the food was awesome! In the past the food was covered in a less than desirable sauce. Two weeks ago there was limited sauce allowing the food to shine! I complimented the cook and hope the deliciousness continues!

And a very bad experience They messed my order up completely and they would not make it right I have been told I would hear from the manager still nothing I would not recommend this place if they cannot even get a phone call back to make there mistake right. A one dinner for 37$ and can’t get a call back.

Portions were big, steak was cooked good. My wife's salmon wasn't so good and the carrots were canned

Mishima Express is a Japanese restaurant. Its a great place to stop and have a great meal.

Hard to beat. Incredible salmon for the price. Fried rice with the "pink sauce" is great as well. Don't miss their ginger sauce with the chicken and vegetables. Great ownership and staff.

I’ve been coming to Clayton for years. I knew better than to eat Chinese food out in the country. My son insisted and it was borderline food at best. All of use barely ate our food and we definitely didn’t want to go containers.

Very good food, clean, friendly service and the prices aren't as bad as some folks say on here.. You can defiantly eat a decent meal for less than $10.00. I think some people think restaurants should give the food away, but fail to realize the expenses involved. Overall a great place to eat.

Must have hit them on an off night. Passing through from Florida on a hiking trip. Counter help was nice and quick service, but chicken in my order was like jerky...seriously.....nice regional veggie selection, not Asian... but mostly fried rice for $12.00....might be ok if the chicken was not dried out leftover.....
